Meditation on Connection

As much as I enjoy using my left brain to learn about the research, I feel connected when I use my right brain to return to the present moment and become conscious of my place in the web of life. [If you, like me, need help remembering the research on brain hemispheres, there is a nice summary at UCMAS.]

That movement –from our every-day-get-stuff-done minds to become present to our miraculous, lived experience – from busyness to reverence – seems to me to be the intention of spiritual practice.

This meditation invites you to move into moments of consciousness of connection as you go through your day.
